We're the Most Trusted Animal Rescue in Town

Harry’s Island Paw Rescue is a small, volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization based in Puerto Rico.

Founded in late summer, our rescue began with a simple goal: to help dogs who have been forgotten and give them the care and love they deserve.

Despite our size, we are committed to making a meaningful difference. To date, we’ve successfully completed multiple adoptions and continue to work daily to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need.

What We Offer

We provide a way for you to give back to animals in need

Rescue & Adoption

We rescue stray and abandoned dogs from the streets, marinas, and other dangerous situations, providing them with care and matching them with loving homes in Puerto Rico or the mainland United States.

Veterinary Care & Rehabilitation

Each rescued dog receives necessary medical care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and treatment for injuries or illness, helping them recover and prepare for adoption.

Foster & Transport Support

Foster homes are essential to our rescue efforts. We also assist with transport to the mainland U.S. for approved adopters and travelers willing to help a dog reach their forever home.

We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Puerto Rico’s stray and abandoned dogs often known as “satos.” Through veterinary care, rehabilitation, and careful placement, we ensure every dog has the opportunity to find a loving home, either locally or in the mainland United States.

Before bringing your dog home, we guide you on the basic supplies needed to ensure a smooth transition — from food to bedding and everyday essentials.
